Executive Summary

AACPS was established, and has grown in response to, the need for a safe and efficient alternative to coppice management in the plantation industry's second rotation and the thinning and pruning of general silviculture operations.

We aim to provide industry leading services to:

• The expanding plantation pulpwood export market.
• Municipal pruning and thinning opportunities.
• Private requirements for coppicing, thinning and pruning.
• Removal of pine wildings (re-growth) in 2nd rotation pine establishments.
• Cut Stump requirements (target species sprayed).
• Non commercial thinning in Pinasta and Radiata pine.
• Control of woody weed and noxious weed populations.
• Great southern region, WA, first to harvest substantial blue gum resource, continuing to expand Australia Wide.
• Innovative process to better service second rotation options and thinning requirements.
• Wood extraction and chipping for bio-energy market.
